Subject: Transport LIbrary Interface (TLI)
I am sure there may be a better place to post this, but I have to start
somewhere :-).
I am looking for information on the Transport Library Interface (TLI)
specification. I am not entirely sure exactly what it provides, however,
it was mentioned in the same context as Sockets in Andrew S. Tanenbaum's
book "Computer Networks". I suspect it is some form Socket-like interface,
but I cannot confirm this.
I would VERY MUCH APPRECIATE if anyone could point me in the right
direction for finding more information on this specification.
Thanks in advance,
Ken Carpenter
